ABOUT US

When Jesus began his earthly ministry in Mark 1:14-15 the writer said, “Jesus came into Galilee preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and saying.  The time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand repent ye and believe the gospel.” In Christ Baptist Church will be a Kingdom focused church teaching and preaching what it means to be “in Christ” and a citizen of the Kingdom of God. To be “in Christ” means that we are Spiritually and positionally united with Christ in His person and His work. In 1 Cor. 12:12-13 the church is called “the body of Christ” and is compared to the human body in that it is comprised of many different parts but is made one in Christ. Like the human body the church is designed to function in unison not in isolation. Christ is the one ingredient that brings us all together as one because in Him all fullness dwell, that is all completeness is in Him. To be Kingdom focus means that we are govern by the rule and authority of God. We are Kingdom citizens of the Most High God. Jesus taught us to pray, “Thou Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.” It is God's will that we as believers in Christ, function on earth as citizens of heaven under the rule of Christ.  We are in this world but not of it. (John 17:14)

OUR VISION

We envision leading a church in which our purpose is to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom. We envisioned reaching the lost and bringing them into a loving environment. This environment will be a place where they can grow in a knowledge of being in Christ through the teaching of the Word. We believe lives will be transformed into true disciples exemplifying what it means to be a citizen of the kingdom of God.

OUR MISSION

In Christ Baptist Church exists for the advancement of the gospel of the Kingdom. We purpose to proclaim that salvation is only found in Jesus Christ and he is the only remedy for the healing of our world. We endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission by going and making disciples of all nations. Teaching them that our identity is only in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
